European Aviation Safety Agency or the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) some time ago has announced that airline passengers (in Europe) are currently allowed to use smartphones and tablet computers during the flight. Ban the use of devices that emit radio signals for airlines erase the previous rule that requires passengers to activate airplane mode while on an airplane. This regulation will enable mobile communications on aircraft, like to browse the Internet or send an email when the plane is flying above 3,000 meters (10,000 feet). This setting will also be the beginning of the possibility of offering communication 'door-to-door' or wifi service in the plane. The new regulations require that the airlines do their own testing to ensure passenger safety when using smartphones and tablets on the plane. Although this rule has entered into force yet EASA assess the adoption of this new regulation will take place in eight months. Before this the seater in Europe are already allowed to use their mobile phone to make calls when the aircraft is at an altitude above 3,000 meters, but are not allowed to use the Internet data channel while at that altitude. Passengers also need to turn off the computer, cell phones, music players, and other woods devices when the aircraft will be flying or landing. However some airlines already offer wifi known to passengers.
