Apple: Apple Launches Soon Pay in China

Apple will launch an online payment service in China in an effort to expand its biggest market outside the US despite harsh rivaled by local competitors. This service was launched in Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ), which is designed to be the center of the country's financial reforms, reported the China News Service reported. Apple does not mengungkapkkan the launch date, but the company told AFP that CEO Tim Cook wants to build Apple Pay in China as soon as possible. Cook previously said that he expects one day China overtake the US as the largest market Apple. But e-commerce giant Alibaba dominates China's online payment sector negerin it through Alipay similar to Paypal which controls around 80 percent market share. Internet company Tencent also provides similar services it through its popular messaging app WeChat AFP.
